ABOUT THE BEAN
I started my bean counting journey at the young age of twelve when I started my first job at a plant nursery - watering, weeding, and running the cash register. To everyone’s surprise I turned out to be the most accurate employee on the cash register- I was destined to work with numbers! I graduated high school at sixteen and went on to complete a bachelor’s of science in accounting and an associates degree in entrepreneurship. I was recruited out of college to work for a large, local public accounting firm where I sat for and passed the CPA exam after my first year. I spent five years working in public accounting where I gained invaluable experience working in both the tax and audit departments for a wide variety of companies.
In addition to counting beans, I am a wife and mother to two incredible kids. I am also passionate about fitness, teaching trampoline (yes, trampoline!) and barre classes. I love hiking, camping, kayaking, and anything outdoors. What can I say, my interests are diverse! That's why I love accounting, it gives me the opportunity to work with and learn about different companies every day. I can't wait to learn about yours!

THE BASICS
Bookkeeping services- weekly, monthly or quarterly check-ups. Includes reconciling your bank accounts, answering your questions, and providing peace of mind that things are on the right track! Accounts receivable and account payable management available depending on the size of your company.
CLEAN UP TIME
Helping confused QuickBooks files find their way again. Includes cleaning up past mistakes or messes and partnering with your accountant when necessary to get your books back on track. A deep dive into your books doesn't scare me. Challenge accepted.
TRAINING AND CONSULTING
Maybe you really want to do things yourself but need a coach to run questions and issues by. Sign me up! I love teaching (when I was six I was sure that would be my future career) and always enjoy sitting down with entrepreneurs to help them feel more in control of their books.
